Lead Development Agent

Verve, the leader in peer-to-peer travel and event marketing, needs experienced, enthusiastic Lead Development Agents to dramatically increase opportunities for our US Sales Team.
You will bring your sales expertise to our vibrant cross-functional, and collaborative, team. As you excel in sales generation you will leverage our travel destinations while providing a brilliant customer experience.
In the next 12 months you will:
- Follow-up on inbound leads and provide appropriate information to foster lead relationships
- Maintain detailed documentation and analysis of leads in SalesForce
- Act as a subject matter expert on student travel
- Research target leads and create analysis of the prospect before handing them off to a Sales Agent
- Educate leads on the rewards of traveling with us and nurture them until they are qualified and to talk with a Sales Agent
- Qualify and engage sales leads, supplying leads with adequate information about our travel programs and providing the sales team with detailed information about the lead
- Schedule appointments, demos and introduce leads to their new point of contact (Sales Agent
- Call 50+ prospects and email X prospects each day.
- Experience in sales, marketing or telemarketing
- Experience with sales tools, including Salesforce CRM or similar
- Proven track record for articulating a product/service and building rapport with prospects
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal and on social media
- Ability to pinpoint customer pain points and accurately assess the transactional value for both the company and customer.
- Self-motivated, tenacious, confident, independent and strong attention to detail.
- Schedule appointments and introduce leads to their new Sales Agents
