B2C Marketing Director
We’re looking for a Marketing Director to define a new standard across millennial focused travel, live music, event and festival experiences. You’ll have your finger on the pulse of pop and digital culture, and have the experience to translate emotive and aspirational experiences to a young, hyper-aware and socially focused audience.
This is the chance to be a senior figure in a new central Marketing and Content Function within Verve; a fast-growth, well funded global start-up. As Marketing Director you will head up consumer marketing strategy and execution in the US market, working closely with the in house Creative Director to ensure high quality content engages a growing user base.
This isn’t a traditional marketing role or a traditional marketplace. The platform is powered by ambassador programmes, enabling users to discover amazing travel and entertainment experiences and organise their friends to go. In your first 12 months you will be helping attract Members to the marketplace, providing them with the right content to promote the experiences available to their friends. More specifically, you will:
- Identifying and understanding different users needs, motivations and behaviours to inform messaging, targeting and communications channel priorities
- Leading the decisions on the target audience and relevant channel selections for each campaign
- Owning the marketing communications calendar, planning out campaigns in advance by working with the content team, social media manager, Head of CRM and VP of Growth.
- Being the keeper of deadlines, ensuring the content team are fully aware of the campaign timings and specifications
- Setting clear goals and KPIs for the social media manager
- Keeping track of the annual marketing budget, showing production costs and media spend by campaign and by month
- Work with the VP of Growth and the Social Media Manager to plan and execute paid digital tests and campaigns
- Working with the VP of Growth and Content Team to set marketing and content goals and KPIs
