This is a really exciting time to join Verve’s marketing team. This is a new role for Verve and an opportunity to shape organic acquisition strategy and develop our Los Angeles office to achieve a high, fast and sustainable growth.
In the next 12 months you will:
Be leading the SEO for Verve: You will become an expert in SEO for advocate and customer acquisition, always focussing on growth & scalability.
As SEO Leader, recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
From A/B testing to new best practices: You will mathematically test your hypotheses to identify new best practices that you will share and scale across all our websites.
Develop and implement link building strategy
Working closely with the tech team to ensure that the SEO best practices are implemented on every newly developed code
You will combine SEO best practice with insights from paid search to collaborate with the content team and improve the ranking and quality score of our pages
An experienced SEO specialist with copywriting skills, with 3+ years of SEO project management, ideally in either marketplace, retail or travel
A start-up enthusiast, with demonstrable experience in a high growth start-up environment
Highly analytical, technical, data-driven and with a fast growth solution-oriented mindset.
