Senior Product Manager
We are looking for exceptional senior product managers to help us deliver on our mission of building a global platform that harnesses the power of passionate enthusiasts, be that in live music, sport or travel, and brings them and their networks closer to the things they love.
Our product team is lean and fluid - we are operating across three product lines and we go wherever the biggest challenge or opportunity lies right now. Depending on your current area of focus you could find yourself building an integration with a global ticketing partner, considering how to apply behavioural economics principles to a reward system, creating a best in class checkout experience, or developing the ultimate approach to onboarding new ambassadors. We are fortunate to be solving an incredible breadth of challenges across a B2B, B2C and vertically integrated service product and the breadth of opportunities is vast!
Trying to figure out if this is the role is right? We are hiring for multiple roles and as such we want a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, but across the board we want product people who are striving to be the best in their profession. You will be someone who constantly looks for opportunities to learn and improve both personally and professionally. You will need to flourish in fast-paced, constantly evolving environments, and you must feel just as passionate about iterating and enhancing existing solutions as you do about launching something new. You must be comfortable making decisions at speed, and have strong instincts for how you can validate a hypothesis before you build. You will be someone who adopts a leadership role without hesitation and people have probably described you as a Swiss army knife, with a toolkit that stretches across product, UX, agile, research and commercial.

To be considered a senior product manager at Verve, the following needs to be true:
You consistently demonstrate high performance across the full breadth of core product manager/owner competencies, supporting your product team in achieving their goals in the most effective way possible.
You truly own the product area or problem you are responsible for - no-one is closer to the users your product impacts or has a better understanding of how you can evolve it to support the company vision.
Your roadmap blends vision, strategy and analysis so that we both deliver against the immediate needs of our customers and progress against our mission.
You show high quality decision making, balancing customer and commercial needs. You are able to consistently deliver a product that effectively meets the users needs as measured by an impactful set of top level KPIs, but you conduct deeper analysis into your product beyond top level KPIs, and use this insight to inform your strategy.
You consistently take a “holistic product” approach, considering the broader ecosystem of your product and influencing the operations that surround it.
You are a sought out member of cross-functional teams. You are able to step up and lead without authority and ensure that any initiative you are involved in take a problem led approach and drives rapidly for results.
You demonstrate a clear and inspiring communication style both within your product team and outwards into the business.
You are an effective designer and facilitator of presentations and workshops. Your meetings/workshops are regarded as effective and efficient and most importantly you help the group to collaborate and arrive at good decisions.
